Wednesday 24th June 2009 - Evening Session

Article 94 - Reopening

The chairman invites all present to sing Psalm 18:1,10.

Article 95 - Adoption of the Acts

Articles 81-93 of the Acts are amended and adopted.

Article 96 - Adoption of the Press Release

The press release is amended and adopted.

Article 97 - Farewell Delegates RCN

J Bronsema delivers his farewell address on behalf of the RCN, then invites all present to sing Ps 67:1. The chairman thanks him for his words.

Article 98 - Farewell Delegate RCNZ

Rev P Archbald delivers his farewell address on behalf of the RCNZ. The chairman thanks him for his words.

Article 99 - Closing Address

The chairman delivers his closing address (refer Appendix 1j; address).

Article 100 - Closing

The vice chairman thanks the chairman for the good and brotherly way that he chaired Synod. He then invites all present to sing Hy 46:1,2, and then leads in closing prayer. The chairman declares the 24th Synod of the Free Reformed Churches of Australia closed.
